Imi Lehmbrock Hirschinger Biography
As an Austrian Imi has spent much of her life hiking in the Tirolian Alps. This may explain her desire to paint contemporary themes with aerial perspectives. She has pioneered the creation of Sacramento Valley aerial paintings over the last fifteen years.
Imi has written a book titled “Colorfields” which documents her work on aerial images. Her work has been acquired for a large number of corporations, public organizations and private collections in the USA and in Europe. Imi’s initial art training began in Austria and Paris and later she earned a degree in Fine Art from the University of the Pacific. She has been designated as a “Special Collection Artist” by KVIE Public Television in Sacramento and have been in the Crocker Art Museum Art Auction for over a decade. Her studio is in rural Loomis, California and she co-owns Ibex Fine Art with her husband, James, who is an award-winning fine art photographer.
