Robert Frank Biography

Robert Frank has established himself as an important impressionistic landscape painter, gifted both in pastels and oils. Mr. Frank’s growing body of highly interpretive work has been avidly collected nationally and has placed him at the vanguard of contemporary painters. Robert Frank now lives in Southwest Ohio, but, earlier, he graduated from the University of Cincinnati and then served 2 years in the Army. After his service, he returned to Ohio to begin a 30 year career in commercial art. At the same time, he took additional studies and workshops in both pastel and oil under such notables as Jack Callahan, Charles Movalli, and Harvey Dinnerstein.
