About The Artist

Tom McGee grew up in Sacramento. He attended Sacramento City College, where he was able to study with Gregory Kondos, Darrell Forney, Laureen Landau, Fred Dalkey, and Larry Weldon. Later he transferred to Long Beach State University, where he received his BFA in Illustration studying with Dick Oden and Pete Mendez. Tom’s illustration work has appeared in the Sacramento Bee, the California Journal, Sacramento Magazine, and others. After a career working as a software engineer, Tom is now turning his talents to painting and printmaking.
